Women’s Health Physio

At Glide Physio + Pilates, we prioritise women's health with expert physiotherapy services tailored to each stage of life.

Our women's health physiotherapists are specially trained and highly experienced in women’s health and pelvic floor care. We provide expert, evidence-based assessment and tailored treatment for a wide range of pelvic health concerns, including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain.

We support women through every stage of life — from early adulthood recovery to the peri- and post-menopausal years. Whether you're preparing for birth, returning to exercise after having a baby, struggling with pelvic pain, or managing bladder or bowel concerns, we offer clinical guidance you can trust. Our goal is to help you feel confident, strong and well-informed about your body.

  • Comprehensive assessment and treatment of bladder and/or bowel concerns such as urgency, frequency, leakage (incontinence), and difficulty emptying, using evidence-based strategies like pelvic floor muscle training, bladder retraining, and lifestyle advice.

  • Individualised management of pelvic organ prolapse, including pelvic floor rehabilitation, education, activity modification, and pessary fitting when appropriate.

  • Physiotherapy treatment for pelvic pain conditions, including pain with intercourse, endometriosis-related pain, vulvodynia, vaginismus, and pudendal neuralgia. Treatment includes pelvic floor muscle therapy, pain education, desensitisation techniques, and movement-based approaches.

  • Safe, physio-led exercise and advice during pregnancy to support your changing body, manage pain, and prepare for labour and delivery, including perineal massage.

  • Thorough postnatal checks assessing abdominal separation (DRAM), pelvic floor recovery, musculoskeletal concerns, and return-to-exercise planning tailored to your goals.

  • Management of pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain, low back pain, and other joint or muscle issues through hands-on treatment, support belts, activity modification, and exercise.

  • Internal and external assessment of pelvic floor muscles, with targeted training programs to improve strength, coordination and function.

  • Personalised Pilates-based exercise programs delivered in individual or small group sessions, designed and supervised by physiotherapists to address your specific pelvic health, pregnancy or musculoskeletal needs.
